Raised in Mumbai (Bombay), India in a joint family, Rita developed her passion for creative arts. She has done her Graduation in Psychology and has done her Diploma in Interior Designing.
Rita has been applying Mehendi (Henna) for the last 15 years, with an experience then amateur; has now changed into a more professional and career oriented talent with her immense contribution to Mehendi (Henna) especially in her creativity of designs like Tattoos, Religious Figures, Varli designs etc…
She assisted Usha Shah in lots of her endeavors for a long time and then went ahead to her pursue her own providence. Rita has got an opportunity to embellish the hands of Big Faces of the Glamour Industry like Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Hema Malini, Kareena Kapoor and also industrialist like Birlas.
She provides a complete bridal solution along with Henna, she does MakeUp, Hairstyle and Saree draping.
Rita is successful in India and also had an opportunity to attend wedding ceremonies outside India as well.
One of them being held in MACAU (Siddharth Mutha and Niyati Karia) in June 2008; which was aired on “NDTV Good Times – Big Fat Wedding” in the month of September 2008. Post that she has travelled twice to Bangkok for weddings. All prospects just flourished by word of mouth publicity from extremely pleased clients.
